I love the stories in this book because they have a nice mix of older princess characters and newer ones. I think they were are going to be able to get lots of bedtime stories out of this book for awhile to come. The cover is nice too because it has a slight padding to it so I think it will take a little bit a beating. Decent size too.. not too heavy.

These aren't my favorite princess stories and I wince a little when my daughter asks me to read them to her. The stories themselves are not the best (they aren't the "traditional" version of the Disney princess stories) and I find the wording to be awkward and difficult to read aloud at times. I like the Little Golden Book collection of Disney princess stories much better. They have more interesting illustrations, the "traditional/classic" versions of the Disney princess stories, and are written better, in my opinion. Skip this book.

We love the 5 minute books. We've bought a few for our son and when our daughter was born we bought her this one for everyone at the baby shower to sign. The stories are perfect for little girls.

I've actually bought this book twice now - and vaguely considering a third time.My daughter loves almost all of the stories and asks to read them over and over at bedtime (we usually get through about 3 different stories per night).The main problem is that the binding glue is very bad and will eventually totally give way. This happened with my first copy so I bought another 4 something months later; and it has now happened again. Basically, after a while, big chunks of the pages will just fall out. I have taken to gluing them back in using craft binding glue.Its a book that is good enough that it will likely be read frequently, just not one that's physically up to the task.

These are not the actual stories of princesses that we know of. They are made up stories with same characters. So if you are looking for the story of cyndrella lost her shoe at the royal ball and prince looks for her all kingdom.. or story of how sleeping beauty's curse was broken... then this is not the book.

Love these stories! They are perfect to read to our newborn baby, but also perfect for older kids too! We have a feeling we will be getting good use out of this book for many years to come. All of the stories are "short stories" of what is in the movies; they pulled short story lines out of the Disney princess movies and turned them into 5 minute stories, so it is not just telling the whole story of each movie, but rather small stories within each movie. They are definitely identifiable stories from each movie, so older kids will "know" the story ahead of time if they know the movie.

Great quality

This book is great. My wife reads between 15-20 books a day to our 2.5 yr old daughter. This book is enjoyable for both our daughter (it is mostly spinoff stories about each of the Disney Princesses), and my wife. Typically when my wife reads a book to her and she likes it she will ask to read it again. With this book, she asks to read the next story. It gives my wife a break from the overly repetitious book reading routine.

I love reading to my granddaughter, but when it takes half an hour to read a story and you get the "again" every time, this book is a real hit. The stories are there, but without all the details. Great for a 3-year-old. I can read several stories and she's happy. The longer stories are great for building attention spans, but this is REALLY nice for bedtime!
